Week One in London: Highs, Lows and a Powerful Reminder

Week one in London? In a word: AMAZING.
You’re getting the updates in real time because you’re my most loyal community— this newletter and to thank you I want to keep you close through this journey.

Let’s talk about it…

🎢 Real Talk: Highs & Lows

The Future London Academy experience has already been a whirlwind—equal parts inspiring and humbling.

I’ll be honest: early in the week, I was feeling small. I’m the youngest in the cohort, surrounded by powerhouse creatives from companies like Microsoft, Netflix, and H&M. These are folks with full teams—departments for marketing, complaints, and more.

Meanwhile, Lauren Ashley Experiences is still run by yours truly—solo. No departments. Just purpose and passion.

But something shifted. If you’d asked me Monday, this message would’ve sounded like “Woe is me.” Today? It’s different.
I see now that they didn’t just accept me—they saw a CEO in the making. They saw LAE not for where it is, but for where it's going.

🔥 Purpose Reignited

This week reminded me why I didn’t land a job straight out of design school:
I wasn’t meant to fit in—I was meant to build something of my own.

Something rooted in legacy, intention, and healing through design. And I want that for every client, collaborator, and creative I meet.
